Back for 2025, we’re excited to announce the return of “Epics @ Everyman”, our partnership with Everyman Bristol. We’ll be screening classic films from across the decades, particularly those with longer run times, that you can enjoy from the comfort of Everyman’s sofa seats.
Our opening selection for 2025 is in tribute to one of our favourite directors, the late, great David Lynch, so naturally we’ll be screening his magnum opus, Mulholland Drive. Imbued with all the trademark Lynchian twists and tropes, it’s a haunting, surreal, noiresque journey through Los Angeles that oscillates between dreamscape and nightmare.
MAGNOLIA: Epics @ Everyman
This tragicomic ensemble character study is operatic in scope and scale
Our second collaboration with Everyman Bristol is a 25th anniversary screening of Magnolia, which truly embodies “epic” in its rich mosaic of weird and wonderful characters played to perfection by an ensemble cast from Tom Cruise and Philip Seymour Hoffmann to Juliane Moore and William H. Macy. Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (There Will Be Blood, The Master), this haunting anthology that will linger long in the memory.
