GATTACA with LEAP: Festival of Digital Health

  • Lexus Pavilion West Mall Bristol, England, BS8 4BH United Kingdom (map)
Stylishly scoped with ice-blue hues and smartly visualized with a forbiddingly cold design, Gattaca is an intelligently-conceived sci-fi chiller starring Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman.

DOORS: 18:00 | FILM STARTS 18:15

We’re thrilled to announce a unique collaboration between Bristol Film Festival and the Festival of Digital Health for a special screening of the iconic sci-fi thriller Gattaca.

Set in the stunning Mall Gardens, this event offers a first look at one of our most beautiful venues ahead of our Summer Season.

Join us for a special screening of the acclaimed sci-fi thriller GATTACA, a film that delves into the ethical and societal implications of predicting future health by analysing genetic data.

Following the screening, engage with a panel of experts as they explore the real-world science behind the film's themes, discussing the current state of predictive genetic technology, its potential, and the ethical questions it raises.

This event offers a unique opportunity to bridge science fiction and science fact, providing insights into the future of using patient data to predict future health.

Taking place in the beautiful Mall Gardens in the heart of Clifton Village, this is outdoor cinema with a twist. With covered seating, a state-of-the-art LED screen and wireless headphones, enjoy your film come rain or shine - it's a Summer experience that’s not to be missed.
